Kayote Joins Multi-Billion Dollar Global Companies in the Prestigious Shortlist

PASSAIC, New Jersey - January 5, 2006 - Kayote Networks, Inc., experts in Voice over IP (VoIP) interconnectivity technology and developer of advanced IP communication services announced today that the company has been selected to the prestigious "VoIP Magazine 20: Companies to Watch in 2006". The list includes global players such as Alcatel, Avaya, Motorola and Siemens.

"Looking ahead to 2006, the voice over IP market will continue to mature and customer requirements will continue to evolve with the emerging technology," said Bryan Richard, Editor-in-Chief at VoIP Magazine. "This list highlights the vendors that are best positioned to spearhead advances in the enterprise or service provider marketplace over the coming year, and we congratulate Kayote Networks on making the cut."

"We are delighted to have been selected by VoIP Magazine as a 'Company to Watch' in 2006," said Baruch Sterman, CEO of Kayote Networks. "At Kayote, we have concentrated our efforts on providing secure and reliable interconnectivity between VoIP providers and believe that the effective management of networks by dedicated VoIP experts will ensure rapid and trusted adoption as a mainstream communications medium. This achievement is due to the hard work and commitment of our team and a validation of our technology leadership."

The other "Companies to Watch" are: Alcatel, Atreus Systems, Avaya, Azulstar, BorderWare, BroadSoft, Digium, Empirix, Foundry Networks, Linksys, M5 Networks, Motorola, Popular Telephony, Sangoma, Siemens, Sonus Networks, Stealth Communications, Sylantro and Telchemy.

Kayote recently unveiled FronTier; its flagship, hosted solution for VoIP networks. Companies spend small fortunes setting up their own VoIP operations which require elaborate Session Border Controllers (SBCs) and routing engine hardware, software licensing agreements, and expensive support contracts. However, this still leaves VoIP networks with extensive interoperability challenges.

FronTier combines the features of an SBC and routing engine with robust management and reporting tools, all within a secure environment, providing carriers and ITSPs with the most advanced, field-proven interconnectivity solution currently available. As a comprehensive hosted solution, FronTier helps companies achieve fast time to market and provides a cost effective alternative to complex installations and dedicated resources.
