VoIP Service Provider Kayote Networks Closes Q1 2008 with 32% Increase in Revenue from Sales of its Hosted VoIP Traffic Manager

Tier 2 and 3 carriers' faith in Kayote for carrier-grade hosted VoIP services adds to Kayote's momentum

Passaic, NJ - April 2, 2008 - Kayote Networks, Inc., the leading provider of hosted Voice over IP (VoIP) interconnectivity solutions, today announced positive growth in first quarter sales and continued momentum.  Kayote announced a growth over the previous quarter of 32% in revenue, a 30% increase in customer base for its VoIP Traffic Manager (VTM) platform and a 74% jump in overall VoIP call minutes running through its system

Kayote's VTM allows carriers of all sizes, wholesalers, cable operators and Internet Telephony Service Providers to offer their customers the most advanced VoIP services available and maintain full control of the network, without having to invest in the deployment and maintenance of a costly VoIP network.

"Our outstanding growth in the first quarter can be attributed to the fact that an increasing number of carriers are discovering that outsourcing their VoIP operations to VoIP experts will improve their bottom line," said Dr. Baruch Sterman, CEO of Kayote. "We expect this momentum to continue through the rest of the year as we expand into other regions."

The increased number of VTM customers strengthens Kayote's global reach.  In addition to expanding the company's existing presence in North America and Europe with new VTM customers in the US, UK, Norway and Italy, Kayote gained customers from Chile, Ecuador, Honduras, India, Iraq, Lebanon, Nepal, the Philippines and Micronesia during the first quarter.

"The Kayote VTM platform offers us the flexibility we were looking for in a routing, billing and reporting engine," said Moumtasser Hachem, CEO at Monty Holdings, one of Kayote's new Carrier customers in Lebanon already doing millions of minutes a month through the VTM platform. "The platforms versatility and ease of use coupled with Kayote's real world VoIP know-how, gives us an effective tool for maximizing the value of our networks" added Hany Cherfan, Monty Holding's CTO.
